Our Mission Statement

Northfield Medical Centre aspires to offer high quality holistic care to all our patients, involving them in the decisions that affect their health. We believe that the best possible care can be offered by working closely with all providers, both in the community and within the hospital setting. 

As a training/teaching practice, we strive to provide excellent training for the GP’s of tomorrow, helping them to understand that General Practice can offer so much.

You and Your General Practice

Please note the practice will provide services as per ‘You and Your General Practice’ except when unable to do so due to: 

  • being unable to assure a safe service
  • lack of capacity
  • closure due to staff training (half day each month)
  • closure on bank holidays
  • unforeseen events
  • failure of NHS supplied software
 Our opening times over the Christmas/New Year period are as follows:

Wednesday 24th December: Early Closure – 8am to 4pm
Thursday 25th December: CLOSED
Friday 26th December: CLOSED
Saturday 27th December: CLOSED
Sunday 28th December: CLOSED
Monday 29th December: Open as usual – 8am to 6:30pm
Tuesday 30th December: Open as usual – 8am to 6:30pm
Wednesday 31st December: Early Closure – 8am to 4pm
Thursday 1st January: CLOSED
Friday 2nd January: Open as usual – 8am to 6:30pm

 If you require urgent medical assistance between 4pm and 6:30pm on Wednesday 24th or Wednesday 31st December please call 0300 323 0671.

Please call 111 at all other times whilst we are closed for urgent medical assistance. If you have a life-threatening medical emergency, please call 999.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
